My Favorite Nuggets
were written and printed just for fun, and just for friends.
I started to write and collect a few of my favorite Nuggets,
but on and on it went until nearly 500 were written or found.
Well, some of them are 40 to 50 years old. They are all mine, except the half dozen or so, identified as other than me.
The Web Site, with thousands of pages of stories and photos.
http://www.travel-tidbits.com/
The Nugget Book was Printed 2009,
not really Published, but just for fun.
Questions, comments, criticisms are all appreciated.
But dont brag if you find a duplicate Nugget.
Some are on purpose.
If you see a page you would like to read again, fold the corner, or scribble with pen or pencil, thats the only way to find it.
Also, the best Nugget in the Book is
just a few pages past the last one you read,
so dont give up!!!
Our Travel Concept and Pattern Includes
__________________________________________________
If we have no schedule, we aren't late.
If we don't care where we are, we aren't lost.
If we have no itinerary we're exactly where we ought to be.
If we can't see IT this trip, we'll see IT next time.
First I wrote three books about our travels. I liked the little stories, so wrote the Snippet books, filled with one-paragraph stories. As I read them, I liked the kernel, the seed of those stories, so edited them to a couple of sentences, and produced the Gem books. Then edited them even smaller, and called them Nuggets.
Some of them look like they could be framed as a plaque, or a Refrigerator Magnet. Can you help?
My Nuggets are short Gems.

Our Travel Philosophy
We are not campers, we travel in a Recreation Vehicle because
Our clothes are on a hanger.
There are goodies in the refrigerator.
We know who used the toilet last.
We travel with the idea that
If we have no schedule, we arent late.
If we dont care where we are, we arent lost.
If we have no itinerary were exactly where we ought to be.
