Rome, Temple Antoninus

This large temple, built in 141 AD, was transformed into a church in the Middle Ages. In 1902 they discovered the remains of a necropolis, containing forty-one tombs.
On the left of the photo, on each side of that dome you will see the statue groups that adorn the towers of the monument dedicated to Victor Emmanuel II.
