Acapulco Princess Hotel

Two different years we visited Acapulco while on a cruise ship. Both times we spent the night on the ship, then rented a taxi to visit this hotel. We never had a hotel as a vacation destination, but if we did, this is about as beautiful and interesting as a hotel gets.

Among other reasons, this hotel is famous because Howard Hughes spent the last few years of his life hiding in a suite in this hotel — if you can call that life.
