Canada, Montreal

This is the view of the Montreal skyline, as we sailed up the St. Lawrence River, near the end of our voyage from Rotterdam. The Polish ship, the Stefan Batory, arrived at the dock in Montreal at exactly 8:00 AM, and it took three hours to get the vehicles, and all the people unloaded.
The RV was unloaded by a crane and a cable, then the Canadian Customs looked at absolutely nothing as we drove the RV, "overloaded" with luggage and boxes of goodies, out of the port building.
The had asked that the RV have almost no gasoline in the tank when it was loaded in Rotterdam, so we could not drive very far until we bought gasoline. We had no Canadian money yet, so we drove to the nearest gas station that took our Visa card.
