Vignettes from Jim and Emmy's years of travel

France

Kaysersberg, Albert Schweitzer

F_Kaysersburg.jpg

All the little towns in the Alsace are of interest, but if you can visit only one, make it Kaysersberg (a couple of miles west of Colmar), the birthplace of Albert Schweitzer. Little stream, castle on the hill, half-timbered houses, lively little shops and cobblestone streets. If we try to describe all these Alsace towns, they sound alike, but each is different and unique in its own way.

By the way, that round object above the roof on the left, is a stork's nest.
