Bar

In the town of Bar we stopped in a very nice shopping center (department store, grocery store, bank, and many other little stores) located in an attractive set of buildings. The stores in Bar had a lot of products for sale, but as we had seen elsewhere in this part of the world, some shelves were not full. In fact some had one each of an item (for example, boys pants), side by side, rather than stacked on top of each other, to take up shelf space.
Emmy bought a dress for our prospective granddaughter, for the grand cost of 100,000 Dinar, or about $7. We put the purchase on our Visa card, but months later when the bill finally arrived, the exchange rate had changed so much the dress only cost $2.01. They still received 100,000 Dinar, but by now the value of the Dinar versus the dollar, had fallen to next to nothing.
