Bantry, Boats on shore

IRL_Boats_on_shore.jpg

The countryside in this part of Ireland is beautiful, the towns are nice, but we don’t remember them as exceptional tourist destinations. But when you look up these names on the Internet, they sound more wonderful then we ever noticed in our few hours thereabouts. We sure would like to see Glandore in the sunshine. It’s a little village on a cliff overlooking a beautiful bay. Then on to Skibbereen, the tiny town of Ballydehob, and on to Bantry, also situated on a beautiful bay. There was plenty of very hot water for showers in Bantry’s lovely campsite on the lake shore. The problem was, the water was too hot, and the water temperature control for the shower was broken.

This is a cliché photo of boats on the shore, but its a nice cliché photo, and hopefully it’s worth a moment of your time.
