Italian Mystery

The date on this photo is July 29, 1985. When we awoke that morning we were in Fiesole, in the hills above Florence, and that night we slept in Siena. Since we know the date on the photo has been accurate for photos we can recognize for sure, this slide is a mystery.

The only thing that looks familiar is that domed building in the center, but if that was the dome we first thought it was, it is below Todi, but we did not visit Todi this day.

What one does forget in 20 years. It is a reminder to be sure to label a slide. It was not difficult to label “a slide” here and there, but 10,000 to 12,000 of the 15,000 slides we snapped over the years, did not get labeled.
