A Dome, a Pillar, An Interior

There must be thousands of buildings in Italy with domes and pillars, and uncounted Cathedrals with beautiful interiors. Well, here is one of each. I know they are in Italy, and most likely in Rome, but I can’t be more exact.

All I know is, we would give anything to be able to re-visit each place, if possible.

Whoops, I just discovered this is the Temple Antoninus in the Roman Forum, in the City of Rome. What one does discover on Google!

Some people come home from a trip with all kinds of complaints about this place and that. We are not Pollyannish about our travels, but there is really no place where we have visited in maybe 75 countries and Islands that we would not be happy to visit tomorrow. Of course some are more interesting than others, but when we travel we know it is their home, if we don’t like it we can leave. We are there to learn about their home and way of life, and we try not to tell everyone that our home is best.
