The Beautiful and the Other

It's hard to believe two photos like these could be on the same page, isn't it?

This is a Polaroid snapshot taken 35 to 40 years ago of my beautiful travel companion. I often ask people if they could spend 4 or 5 months with their travel companion in a space half the size of their dining room, as we have done month after month, in our small RV.

You can see why I like that, as for Emmy, it's hard to say!
