African Walking Stick

AfricanWalkingStick2.jpg
I have a collection of about 50 canes and walking sticks, most of them I bought in the US, or in various countries we have viisited in Europe.

Recently our Granddaughter Joanna (otherwise known as JoJo) visited the City of Johannesburg, South Africa, and purchased this African Walking Stick for me.

I put the words “African Walking Stick” in Google, and got over 5,000,000 hits! I visited a couple dozen sites, and found hundreds of Walking Sticks, but could find no two that looked alike, and none of them look like the one JoJo bought for me.

One site said: These traditional African walking sticks are handmade of wood, and imported from all over the continent. Because each cane is hand carved, there may be slight differences between individual canes.
