Paris, Moulin Rouge

Located at 82 Boulevard de Clichy - 75018 Paris, the name “Moulin Rouge” translates to Red Mill. Since 1889 the shows at the Moulin Rouge — world-wide famous thanks to its French Cancan — are still the same: feathers, rhinestones and sequins, fabulous settings, original music and of course beautiful girls.
Many international stars have performed on stage at the Moulin Rouge, following in the footsteps of French entertainment celebrities.
As you may well imagine if you have read much of our Web Site, we did not attend the Red Mill, we stopped long enough to take this photo, then drove past. It was unusual that we were on the streets of Paris this late in the evening — we are not “Night-People.” We find the Sacré-Coeur, located just a few blocks from the Moulin Rouge, to be of much more interest.
