Vignettes from Jim and Emmy's years of travel

Barcelona

There is an unusual design in the downtown streets in Barcelona. At many intersections they have built the buildings with a diagonal corner on all four buildings, making the intersection very large and potentiality interesting. The problem is, they then proceed to park dozens of cars in the area and mess it up again.

I don’t remember the name of this plaza, but in the nearby area where the streets are narrower, the octagonal street intersections are much more obvious.
