St. Bernard Pass

This photo was taken from the hospice (established by St. Bernard of Menthon in the 10th Century) that contains the kennels of the famous St. Bernard dogs at the top of the Great St. Bernard Pass. Beyond the lake the large building on the right is in Switzerland, the one on the left is in Italy, and the border control point is in the tiny buildings in between.
