Vannes

I took this picture with my back to Cathédrale St.-Pierre (Cathedral of St. Peter) in Vannes, looking towards the Prison Gate. It was a rainy day and Emmy happens to be in the picture, so come to think of it, that might make it a little difficult for someone to capture the exact same snapshot. The photo captures a great variety of beauty, curves, shapes (and that’s just the beautiful lady wearing a rain hat!), lines, forms, colors, half-timbered and stone construction, signs, awnings.
