Gdansk, St. Mary’s Street

PL_Gdansk_St_Mary_Street.jpg

Well, I don’t always remember everything exactly, but the best I remember this is Mariacka (St. Mary's Street) - a uniquely picturesque street, with many tiny galleries and shops selling amber jewelry. In the distance you will see the steeple of Kosciol Mariacki (St. Mary's Church) - Europe's largest brick church, built in the 15th century. It can hold over 25 000 people, the length from the main entrance to the altar is longer than a football field.
