Vignettes from Jim and Emmy's years of travel

Greece

Míkonos, Flowers

GR_Mikonos2_Flowers.jpg

On our first visit to Míkonos, the SS City of Rhodes had anchored off shore at Míkonos, and we rode a small boat to and from the shore. We walked here and there for awhile, really enjoying the white buildings and the red flowers. As we returned to the ship at sunset, the ship in silhouette in the sunset, and the town with its lights just taking effect, both made beautiful pictures.

On our second visit to Míkonos on the SS Odysseus, it was very windy, so we had to dock at a spot several miles from the town of Míkonos, and ride a bus into town.

On our first visit Emmy saw a dress she liked, but decided to wait until we return here a week or two from now, on the SS Odysseus.
